Book Project - The Story of the first Hip-Hop Magazine

I am a self-employed Computer Consultant. In the beginning of July this year, I was contracted to get involved with a book project that would tell the story of the first rap and hip-hop magazine launched in 1991, originated by a lady from an ethnic-religious-social background that on first look would be the most unlikely to be even interested in rap and hip-hop much less publish the first magazine in history catering to these styles of music and artists. It became a great success, greatly assisting the early careers of such notables as Mariah Carey, Ice T, Ice Cube, Prince, Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, Will Smith, Queen Latifah, MC Hammer, Toni, Tone, Tony, shows like In Living Color, A Different World, etc. etc. and she personally knows and worked with hip hip icons such as Russell Simmons. She also had a cable TV Show in New York, featured in Billboard Magazine.\r\n\r\nThe hip-hop magazine has long been out of print (since 1991) and now wants to document her story via a ghostwritten, first person, autobiography highlighting this time period and experience in her life. \r\n\r\nThe original ghostwriter recently was fired after putting together and submitting a poorly written 20,000+ word rough draft of the book after working over two months interviewing the lady via voice recorder and extracting and utilizing that information as the primary book content using Dragon Naturally Speaking software. However the book ended up being almost literally what he got transposed from his voice recorder into the transposed text format with no real book outline ever submitted. \r\n\r\nThe goal is to now have a ghostwriter take the rough draft, add material as necessary and finish the book. I, with the client have created a working outline that we feel covers the areas that she would like to have included in the book (but is also open to your creative ideas). A copy of the current outline is attached.\r\n\r\nSpecial software skills required - A knowledge of Microsoft Word for Windows\r\nLength of writing project - Approximately 30,000 words\r\nAnticipated time frame - up to 3 months\r\nLanguage requirements - Very well versed in English - Level 1 95%+\r\nPlatform - Windows\r\nPayment terms - Progress payments\r\nPayment methods - PayPal
