I need help with structuring and writing a piece for the Harvard Business Review. It's about batteries and disruptive technologies. I have a structure from a piece I would like to refer to (attached by Clayton Christensen). And I have developed the overall thinking for the piece and have a lot of references.
Christensen looks at case studies like the steel industry (big players being displaced by small players) and the photography industry (going digital) and how they didnt see it coming. I would like to write a piece about decentralied energy generation and battery storage doing the same thing in the energy sector. The piece needs to be the same length as the attached HBR pieces, so 10 or so pages.
It also needs to follow the style guide for HBR submissions (its a bit like the Economist Magazine).
I will be very involved in the piece, and dont expect you to get it to the point where I would submit it, rather, to get it to the point where its got the narrative down pat, the tone, the archetype, the structure and some content with spaces marked out for where more information needs to be added/beefed up etc. I will spend the next couple of months doing that.
