I want to do tension after impact CFRP laminates. I tried with abaqus dynamic explicit. I used abaqus inbuilt hashin model with continuum shell element. When I do tension after impact with 10mm displacement, elements are stretching instead of sudden failure. Due to this load vs displacement graph is not falling drastically after reaching peak load value. I have attached the images and CAE files here. I want to resolve this issue. can anyone help me to do this work. Also I wanted it to simulate with 3D hashin model VUMAT code.
