Contest Brief
Several have tried and failed to do this but my hope is that someone out there can make this happen.
I have a model that has compound curved surfaces that I will need to eventually split into 2 parts that will mold to the original piece I have. Meaning the INSIDE of your model needs to match the OUTSIDE of my model. I need your file to be a STL so that we can make a few changes to it as needed. Your model needs to be 3mm thick in most areas and 4mm thick in one main area. For the ease of the contest I would at this point make it into one piece knowing that we will need to split it into 2 parts to be able to assemble it around my original piece. All exterior of the new stl will need to have radiuses that match the original model so smoothing the surface of your model will be key. So no flay faceted angles on the surface. I will have to send the STL 3 D scan file to anyone wanting to see it in the chat as there is a 25MB limit here in this file share area. To win I will need you to show me cross sections of your file overlaying my file to see that it fits properly.
