Contest Brief
I am writing a childrens book for my Nieces. This is the contest to choose who will do the illustrations. The winner chosen will recieve the $50 contest fee and will also be chosen as the illustrator. I will be paying $25/page for a minimum of 10 pages. So minimum would be $250 plus the contest fee of $50 for a total of $300. The main charachters in the story are my two dogs Olive and Bandit, so I am looking for an illustration featuring both of them. For this contest I will type out the narration and I will look for a submittal of a sample of one page of the book.

Bandit walked over and saw Olive sitting in her favorite chair.

#2 . Dear CONTEST HOLDER: be aware of Free , Cheap , overused web Clip arts of Dogs / Dog scenes, there are countless drawings with your dogs breed, all overused, don't be fooled paying for free stock you can download yourself!

Dear CONTEST HOLDER: would you like a Cartoonish or Realistic drawing style for the 2 dogs? also, would you prefer Classic Hand Painting like watercolors, oils or 100% Digital / Computer made drawings? please clarify, in order to make a drawing that fits your project. Hand painting takes time, I would do it only if that is what you are looking for ;)
