Contest Brief
I need STEP-BY-STEP DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS on how to do the following in Photoshop (I have Photoshop CC and use a MacBook Pro):
I have some rubber stamps that have been stamped with different colored ink onto solid white paper (see attached file for some examples of these stamps). Part of the effect with a rubber stamp is that a lot of the image is semi-transparent or transparent allowing the background to show through. I need to replace the white background in Photoshop with a different background (any color or design I choose) and make it look EXACTLY like the stamp was stamped on the new background without losing any of the details of the transparent stamp effect. The quality of the end result is VERY important.
I want the color of the stamps to remain the same.
If you know how to do this, please show me an example using one or more of the stamps provided using the map background to replace the white background.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
