Contest Brief

To design two logos and stationery set designs that describe the vision of family-owned Islamic not-for-profit organization. The organization is called Yayasan Bina Insani Sholih (YBIS); a family foundation that is managing Bina Insan Cendikia (BIC) schools that consist of Islamic kindergarten (TK) and elementary school (SD IT) in West Java.

The foundation's vision is for every child in Indonesia to have the best start in life. This means experiencing that opportunities to learn good knowledge and skills are not a luxury, feeling supported by their families, have a firm root of Islamic values, and living in a safe environment where their future is a priority.

To become a modern and integrated Islamic da’wah and education institution that empowers Indonesian families and children, the foundation will deliver this by implementing the concept of Islamic education based on the Qur’an and Sunnah and giving children and members of families the opportunities, resources, and ongoing supports to learn and apply the knowledge and skills needed to thrive.

What we need is three things:
- Two logo (one for the foundation - YBIS and one for the school BIC). The logo should be similar in style and feel. Refer to colour palette used in the Islamic arts. No color gradation, only solid colour. Use typography that matches the visual style (minimalist fonts are preferred)
- Stationery designs (letter head, envelop, name card, note book) only for the foundation.

    Thank you for submitting your designs. Please note that I am not on a deadline, so I will take the time to find the quality logos that I am seeking. I will wait until the end of this assignment before making any decision.
    I will check your other portfolios in your profile and give feedback only to those I think have the potential to improve. I am an experienced communication person, so I know exactly what I am looking for, which are:
    - Logo that is distinctive; showing that the organization is professional and committed, yet humble; so please don't give me logos that look like I am running an NGOs that people need to pity
    - Logo that is easily applicable and simple. So, simplicity is key. However, please refer to point one about it needs to be distinctive
    - Logo has meaning. The font, the color, the shape you choose need to have a strong meaning. Refer back to the vision I put in the description of the project.
