Avoid variations of the split logo format where the stalks of alphabets are used to break the name into parts , either as speech bubbles or as normal as these are all too common in innumerable contests. Case in point

  And now they are branching out to just split the words (just so it looks different & can't be pointed out as "split format" .. you will know when you see it.
