Contest Brief

Company Name: PetroGuru
('P' and 'G' are capitalized, all as one word or with graphic between 'o' and 'G')

PetroGuru is an e-learning platform geared toward the Oil & Gas industry. We provide training videos and digital tools to O&G professionals and companies to enhance their training and development programs.

Logo Overview:
Logo needs to contain full company name, but we would like to be able to have a shortened version with 'PG' or graphic to be used with different media.
Imagery can be included in the logo, but is not mandatory.

Logo Colors: Logo colors are not set in stone. A few ideas we've had are- Shades of Aquas or Purples or Greens or (up to the designer)

Logo Ideas:
Our logo needs to communicate modern 'tech company' with high-quality and professional work. Something you might see come out of Silicon Valley, but with an air of professionalism. The logo needs to appeal to Gen-Z and large corporations, alike.
Due to our industry being Oil & Gas (mostly the 'Upstream' sector), the logo could contain some type of O&G industry or e-learning imagery, but it is not mandatory. We would like to see ideas with and without imagery.
Please note, we have had many many entries that incorporate the 'teardrop' shape, representing a drop of oil or something similar... although we like several of those designs, we feel that we have received enough designs with that concept. For future designs, please refrain from using the teardrop shape. Thanks!

Our Feedback:
Thank you to everyone that has submitted a design so far! We will be responding to each design (in due time). Due to the large number of entries, we will be using the following guidelines built into Freelancer.com to give feedback:
1. 'Likes' - If we like a design, it's because we like something about it and want to save it to view again later on. (Please try to come up with an original design.. submitting something with the same concept as a design we 'liked' already, unless improved upon, is likely not productive)
2. 'Verbal Feedback' - We will only provide verbal feedback if we really like your design or want to see a revision. (We will not likely be using verbal feedback until later on in the contest)
3. '1 Star' - We will give 1 star to a design that doesn't quite speak to us, but is still relevant to the contest. (Feel free to revise it or submit a different design!)
4. 'Reject' - We will only reject designs that we do not see us using at all. (Feel free to come up with something else!)
