Contest Brief

I need a logo designed.

It's for a friend's micro-business called "Little Hearts Child Minding"

Obviously, it is a child minding business. The lady is looking to work with childred from 2years old to 8 years old and work with parents who are in her local area. She is fully qualified, insured and OFSTED certified.

She just needs a logo.

I see the logo as neat, "cute", simple and elegant. I have seen many childminding logos and they seem to try too hard - i.e. have a whole illustration of 5 children in or or something equally crazy. Or massive bouncy castle fonts. Please don't do that.

I like the name Little Hearts and I think that the logo needs a modern, fresh feel (so no Times New Roman fonts please!!!)...

It can also be nice and bright and playful. Bright colours are fine. And, I guess, it needs to elude to a heart in there somewhere. However, I would ask that we avoid something with massive heart and text plonked on it. It must be neat, elegant and smart.

Another thing that you MUST adhere to. Please. You MUST send the logo on a white background in it's "normal format"... i.e. as if it was just on a white peice of paper. I will instantly reject ALL and ANY logos that are presened in metalic on a wall mockups, embossed, etc or ANY effects on them. The ONLY "mockups" that I will accept is if it is on a plain headed paper or business card environment.
