Contest Brief

I am looking for a quirky, energetic, western/olden times style logo for a Handyman/Home Improvement company called "Fixer Brigade." The logo should appeal to your middle-class, to upper-class home owner who is looking to upgrade their home.

This should be a retro/old-school take on a logo while staying relevant. Nothing too modern or sleek. It should also have emphasis on the typography. Utilization of cool typography that fits the retro/quirky theme is necessary.

About The Business:
- Handyman Business
- Home Services
- Home Improvement
- Home Interior Painting
- Employee Forward (Really care about their employees well being)

Design Elements to note:
- Utilize COOL/RETRO fonts/typography
- Doesn't necessarily need an icon if there is a cool font that carries the logo
- Old-School Style
- Western/Retro Style
- Circus Style
- Think like Roaring 20's era vibe
- Quirky & Fun -- nothing serious
- Lots of energy -- bright colors/gradients/design elements
- Use colors (Red, Blue, Yellow, Navy Blue) **REQUIRED

What NOT to do:
- Nothing Circus Related
- Do not copy any inspiration logos
- Nothing modern/sleek style
- Nothing with just an icon -- cool typography needed

Ideal skills and experience for the designer include:
- Graphic design expertise
- Experience creating logos for the home services industry
- Knowledge of current design trends
- Able to understand my description and take direction without going off-brand
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from the client

Final submission requirements:
- Must include EPS, Ai, PNG, JPEG, & PDF versions of the file
- Must include color and B&W versions

How we will be judging:
1 Star for utilizing proper colors
1 Star for not including any of our "DO NOT" list items
1 Star for proper name (spelled correctly)
1 Star for showcasing logo on a restaurant themed mockup
1 Star for following the design requirements

* Images attached are inspiration -- a combination of these styles please -- not just one of these is perfect (DO NOT copy or replicate designs from inspiration, this is illegal)
