Contest Brief
I am looking for a designer to create a logo for me. I am open to suggestions and would like the logo to be abstract, to convey creativity and innovation. No particular colors or symbols are in mind, so I am looking for something that will make my business stand out. The designer should capture the essence of creativity and innovation so that it can have appeal to my target audience. The logo should also be modern and trendy. Ideal candidates would have experience designing logos that capture the desired message and feel. I am looking forward to seeing the amazing designs that applicants come up with.
We are a unit that is responsible for asset integrity for three offshore platforms that process natural gas. The gas then goes to a LNG plant into LNG tankers to mostly go to Japanese regassification vendors. The specific part of maintenance that we govern is external corrosion. Protecting structural steel, piping systems and vessels from failure that could lead to loss of containment, an incident or loss of revenue.
The team consists of Industrial Painters, Welders, Scaffolders and Rope Access Technicians on the front line where we have 110 people across the platforms. Onshore in the office we have a team of 30 that is responsible for the planning and readiness of the work to be executed by the offshore team.
You will note a logo attached. This has been our logo for three years. We have undergone significant change in the last 7 months and I am looking to revamp this logo to give new meaning to our team. The intent is to have this logo embroided onto some polos in 3 weeks time for a team away day. Polos will be black or dark blue.
To help with images to use, our trades use paint brushes, sengar saws, wrenches, rope access gear, scaffold, drills and spray guns. The assets as discussed are in the middle of the ocean 140km from land. We protect the assets by stopping corrosion. We are a shield.
