Contest Brief

I have an exciting project for individuals with expertise in Google Maps and Cartography.

The task at hand is to convert existing schematics into Google Indoor Maps for a University. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone familiar with Indoor Maps or has the interest and experience in implementing them.

The existing materials are mainly JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats. They include various formats like floor plans and building blueprints. If you have experience handling CAD drawings, that's an added advantage.

Key features to add include:

- Wayfinding Directions: Help users easily navigate through the building. Prior experience with digital Indoor Google Maps is a must.
- Room Labels: Each room should be clearly labeled to ease identification. Any experience with digital mapping systems will be beneficial.
- Points of Interest: Make sure users are aware of the most important places. Experience with GIS software will be a plus.

The deliverables will be files that I will be uploading to Google Maps. Proficiency with Google's mapping technologies is essential.

Previous experience with indoor mapping or Google Maps Layer creation mandatory. A commitment to delivering high-quality work and a keen attention to detail is a must.
