Design a spice jar sticker with a matching logo - VERY FUN PROJECT :)

Contest Brief

Hi! I am looking for a highly skilled freelancer that can help me creating an original spice sticker with two different mosaics. It is a very funny and different project that is divided into two parts.

>> BONUS << Even if you don´t win I might hire you for a big separate project (if you can make nice mosaics), see the end.

Part 1 (90% of the contest): Create a sticker for a spice jar that looks PREMIUM, HIGH QUALITY, UNIQUE and has an ANCIENT vibe. Instead of an image/drawing on the front, the sticker has to have a mosaic – ABSOLUTE MUST!
The jar is 20,5 cm high and 10,5 cm wide. The actual sticker should be 14 cm tall and 32 cm wide. There has to be a 1 cm gap at the back (to see how much spice is left). IMPORTANT – the sticker will be either GLOSSY OR MATTE and be partly METALIZED (i.e. shiny/reflective) – see the attached photos. The areas that I think should be reflective are: the mosaic, the stripes at the top / bottom and the headers at the back.

My friend has quickly done an initial concept which is good, but not perfect – please check the attachments. All the elements are correct (headers, sections, icons), BUT I´m not 100% happy with the;
a) mosaic, could be even less parts
b) stripe at the top and bottom (though there needs to be stripes there)
c) the font (though I like the ancient touch)
d) the front layout, those lines aren´t great
d) the background (it needs to black, but maybe some barely visible pattern that is dark grey?)
e) the logo (see part 2), don´t spend too much time on this one

IMPORTANT – to be sure that you are good in making mosaics I want you to make TWO mosaics: 1) Dried tomato flakes and 2) Fish seasoning (onions, capsicum, garlic, peppers, thyme, ginger). You may choose which spices you want to include into this mosaic. Or maybe a fish with these spices? Release your creativity :) I want the objects to be seen from the side, NOT TOO DETAILED - SEE THE ATTACHED INSPIRATION EXAMPLES.
The lid will either be black or gold – we will decide together which one will be best. Please compare attached photos. REMEMBER to include EVERYTHING from the attached Excel file and pay attention to my comments.

Part 2 (10% of contest): Create a matching logo (not as important)
The logo (“Mater natura”) should be a) simple b) easy to remember and c) match the jar design. Please don’t pay attention to the one in the attachment – my friend just added a text. My company sells dried/canned spices, mushrooms, snails and OTHER FOOD FROM NATURE so please remember this when designing the logo. Important – the logo has to look great on both black background (the jar) and white background (business card, website etc.).

There might be various revisions before I award the contest. The final output needs to be print ready as I need to double check if it looks good on a jar. I will need the the final versions (if you win the contest) in ILLUSTRATOR (CMYK not RGB) and any other format required by the printer.

This contest is ONLY for the sticker with two different mosaics and the logo, HOWEVER I will need 100-120 more mosaics for the rest of the products I am selling (using the same sticker layout and design). So, if you make nice mosaics and if we can agree about the price then you can make those stickers, but in a SEPARATE project with a separate price.

    - The products are only going to be used in restaurants and hotels. This is the main reason why I need a black background, the chefs often have dirty hands and with a light sticker it would get dirty very fast.
    - I cannot change the jar type. Please use exactly the one described in the attachment
