Hello Designers!

I'm looking to upgrade and modernize our current logo. I've attached our current logo versions to this contest we use the logo with the icon to the left 99% of the time. We are moving from a dark website to a light one with focus on blue white and with gold and black being used sparingly. I've attached the exact colors below. Also, I would like to modernize and flatten the image without making it look like it's from the 90's. I'm open to a bit of creative flair. I would like to see the current "globe" design improved upon.

UPDATE MESSAGE Aug 26, 2016:

Although I see many good looking designs, I feel that the original intention of what I'm after most designers have moved away from. The current logo we have represents the business identity. Shifting the logo to a completely different image is something we are not taking lightly. This said, we would love to see our current logo modified and modernized. If you need to play with the line spacing, negative space, please do. Please keep the design so it looks like a progression, succession or transformation rather than a redesign.

UPDATE MESSAGE Aug 22, 2016:

I would like to make some suggestions for design inspiration. I would like to drop the gradient "gold" design. I prefer the lighter blue among the colors I've provided but I'm open to variations in design. I'm not looking for a complete redesign of the logo, but a progression of design. Some ideas on this would be to drop the globe and use Typeface design with CCI. Drop CCI and use the globe.I would like to bring some meaning to the logo as well.

Our 2017 type-font choice for our documents will be Segoe UI in various forms. I would like to see the logo compliment this modern and clean look.

Things that make our business stand out are:

- 3 Generation family business (trinity) (1957 - 2017 | 60 years in the making)
- 1st licenced agency (standing out among the rest).
- Northwest focused
- 1st class service - We always have someone to speak to.
- We are a financial recovery business, bringing money back to our clients while trying to help individuals find ways to pay off their bills.

  I like this design idea, but I would like to get rid of the "gold" gradient since it doesn't work well in multiple platforms (clothing, marketing materials, print materials, etc.) Please try to use some other variants, "upgrade" the typography and move the icon design to the left of the typeface.

  I like the design simplicity and it can fit on paper, clothing, large marketing material or a building. I do want you to try to find a way to "fill" that top right piece of the design with something. Also try playing around with the typography a bit.

why that my last logo presents a rating so low? has that give feedback to them designers, if you think that is a work taken of another person, or a clip art taken of internet, this very wrong, I not plagiarism works, by that same reason present all the variations in colors, funds, and also in versions positive and negative, besides a version to color running as flat design.   I like the logo design concept and some of the lighter color variations but I would like to see the design more 2 or 1 dimensional. I would take a look at a write-up I will do for inspiration. Also try different typography.

It is important to know the difference between generic designs, copies of existing designs and repeated entries with the same design. Delete designs that are original and qualify in a good way is to encourage generic designs unprofessionalism within this community.
