Create a Video / commercial for fence installation company

Contest Brief

We would like to have a few short video commercials made 30-60 seconds in length. The name of my company is Galaxy Fence Services, 800-694-1342, Logo is attached. We want a comical commercial with the theme Do You Need A New Fence.... Setting idea family daughters, mother girlfriends swimming and tanning in back yard swimming pool area. Creepy neighbor big guy drinking, smoking and watching them and talking to them in pool area over old see through fence (ruining their fun). Girls get uncomfortable with neighbor watching them and go inside, Then show Galaxy Fence installing a new privacy fence to block neighbors view. After shot of neighbor not being able to see over fence and the family and girls enjoying new Galaxy privacy fence. This would be the first of 5 videos. Willing to pay $100 to 300 each. These videos can also be in cartoon form.

I just wanted to give clear information. Just had to look inside this website http://fenceworkshop.com and scroll down to see they have their own video advertisment that has the same footage you used in your production. I wanted to give you a tip; for your next video try to verify that "library of stock footage".

My team member still says he had permission to use that footage, or would have never put it in the video. Unfortunately he cannot provide me with documentation. I have tried numerous times to contact the people myself with no response. I assure you if my video is chosen, I will replace that footage, and make any other changes you may want to make it satisfactory.

I was not aware this was not stock footage. I have a library of stock footage I've purchased over years and this was included in that. One of my team must have put that in one of my folders without my knowledge that is wasn't indeed stock footage that has been purchased. Most of the the other footage was stuff I shot myself, so I know there are no other issues. I apologize for this mishap and will replace that footage with some that I am 100% sure there are no issues with.

  I actually spoke with one of my team members about this and they said they thought we had permission to use this clip. I am investigating this further to make sure. If not I will remove it as I said and replace it. If I find we had permission, I will send you the proof.

As a participant, I agree the rules of the contest and the fact that my video wasn't chosen. However, with a professional point of view, I don't understand the fact that the video, which was rejected, now is reconsidered as the best one, and even so, without verifying that the video includes material copied from another commercial, and being more detailed, from another Fence Workshop Company.
Again, this is a message with all my respect.

Talking about my submission, it was suggested as an idea, because of the limitations of time I had. When I did this video, I thought that the most important thing above all, was to preserve the originality and authenticity of the video, which can (and will) obviously be noticeably improved.

Could I get feedback on entry #5 ? I'm confused as to why it was rejected? It is very close to what you asked for, and good quality too. Some clarification would be greatly appreciated. Just curious.

I've made the .WAV , .AVI file in case you need it. The video is made with the lowest resolution. Of course we world work with the ese resolution andlithting possible

  Our plans are a single winner, but if multiple videos of the idea seem to fit we might take a few and trial them to see which pulls in the most traffic. The winner would and should have the inside track for future videos, however, sometimes you need or want a fresh new look.
