  Anyone able to give me an entry that shows what it would look like with stars in the left sail and stripes in the right sail, which would softly mimic the original American flag? Not those colors....

  I like the direction. Mark J...good job. Maybe try 13 stars on the left sail and 13 stripes on the right sail. Another might be the same but also adding SV Mac Pack on the hull. I like the direction of the entries! It puts the focus more on the image / sailboat and not too much on the name. I can see this logo inspiring questions which drives conversations. Very clean and professional looking.

  I like the direction of these entries, all of them looking professional. Please also try to include some options that might have something related to sailing. Even though it is an IT company, it would be nice to reference sailing even if it's implied.
