Contest Brief

We need a great universal coffee bag designed. This will be a digitally printed side gusseted bag, you can view examples here ( https://www.pbinow.com/accounts/image_gallery.php#swipebox )
This bag will be used for a variety of coffees with a single label being applied at packaging specifying the type of coffee in each bag. What we need is your help making the best bag possible. Something that begs you to pick it up off the shelf. The company is Poppets Coffee, the tagline is "Roasting Beans For All Characters" The front panel will have the Logo image, the tag line, and a black space for a 1'x3" label, plus any original artwork that makes your design the winner. The back panel will have a couple paragraphs about us, our process, and our address information. Please use Lorem Ipsum for now. The side gussets are open to your creativity, perhaps instructions on making a perfect cup of coffee.

I have uploaded the template for design parameters along with the pre-press guidelines. All submissions must follow these specifications or will be eliminated from the contest. I have also uploaded various formats of our logo. The winning designer will receive the final instructions including our address and legal information that must be included. For the design process please use the following address until completion.

      Jonathan, I gave you a chance. When I told you what I wanted, you told me it would look stupid and didn't do what I asked. I had not decided on a winner until yesterday, don't act like I led you on. In the future when a CH tells you what they want, give it to them. If it looks stupid that is on the CH, it is not your call. And NEVER EVER tell a CH that their Idea is stupid!!

I gave you my honest opinion as a designer & didn’t kiss your ass so sorry if you didn’t like that! Anyway the best designer won & I like his design more than mine, just would have been nice to let others know if you had been working with him more than others. Best of luck with your coffee you'll probably need it

    I don't understand the brief you gave, do you mean a bag is a pouch? And maybe if you have another example please give it, I will immediately try to make the design

    The majority of entries have been base colors of Brown and Orange. I know our logo has brown and orange in them, but I would really like to see some more vibrant designs utilizing other colors. Please do not use stock art or clip art, any artwork must be original by you. I would like any artwork or graphic details on the front to slightly wrap around the sides to make it a cohesive design. Please ask any questions, I will do my best to leave feedback.
