As pronounced it can be catchy to the more young crowd, due to the factor of resemblance to the word used for cool which is "dope". Aiming to be shared with the most number of consumers, and wanting to achieve market share, it important to choose a name that can be versatile and taken into a whole different transversal meaning. DOUP can mean D GROUP (the group), getting the feeling of community out. When consumers feel they have a say or they are part of a whole bigger world it brings them meaning, and a place where they feel heard, where they can escape making them feel they have power at their hands (there's no bigger power than the one of information and entertainment share). In my professional opinion, it would be the smart way to move, to search for that term. That word will dictate the whole impact of the brand in the future.
