Contest Brief

We are a small software team that have developed a web-based BI Tool. Our customers use this BI Tool to analyse their own internal data.

Currently, our main selection UI has the basic elements but is lacking some style. (Figure 1a and 1b)

Therefore, we are looking for a new design and hope someone with a keen eye for web UI can help. We have also attempted a new wireframe to visualise some new features, these are illustrated in Figure 2a, 2b and 2c. – Note, some experience using BI tools will help with the BI concepts.

Initially, we are not looking for a radical redesign, but simply a new “skin” that we can put over the top of the current UI flow. In the future, we will be doing a complete redesign.

    Hi Amin, there's only one dialog. But the UI has the normal view and with "Advanced Search" open.

    Hi Aditya, yes you are correct... any selection made on the left (including Quick Selections) will be added to the right (Selected Panel)... once the Create Request button is clicked, the dialog will disappear and start to process the selection the user has made.

    I have a doubt - 1) With respect to what ever choosed from Product/market /data - that will be add in right column ? 2) Just for understanding - what will happen when clicked on Create request ? 3) Quick selection - While selecting it ex: Latest 28 days - respected sections will be added on right section ?
