Some reference images have been added for stylistic inspiration. The photography aspect of this is essential, so submissions without some visual reference to photography will need tweaking. An image of a vintage camera/tripod setup has also been added, which should fit with the style we're looking for and be an element worth considering.

A group of photojournalist friends of mine are looking for a logo for an inside joke (which has started to take on a life of its own.)

We'd like a logo graphic designed which depicts the idea of us being photographic miners. Looking for a black/white woodcut style graphic, some vintage throwback motif's are welcomed.

Looking for a graphic representation which utilizes some classic miner motif's (mountains, miner hats, miners, pick axes, gold nuggets etc..) but also incorporates some reference to photography. This doesn't have to necessarily be as literal as a camera, but some visual nod to our profession is a must.

The catch phrase "just a simple miner" should also be included, but does not necessarily have to be embedded into the graphic elements of the design.

This is a fun personal project, and will be used amongst our group for potential shirt/hat/stickers etc...
