My number one question is have you finished your manuscript? When I’m not editing, I’m rereading the Chicago Manual of Style—currently in its seventeenth edition—or taking continuing education courses via the Editorial Freelancer’s Association and online college courses. I believe in continuously learning, and editing is an ever-changing field. If you haven’t guessed, I focus specifically on the Chicago Manual of Style, the most commonly accepted and preferred style for literary agents, publishers, and review publications (the New York Times). I have worked for self-publishers, boutique publishers, content creation services, medium publishers, and literary agents.
