  “This freelancer decided he was the one judging the work being done. We agreed on what the first milestone consisted in. When he delivered, he refused to fix the errors or do anything with the given feedback until the funds for the first milestone were released. He promised to fixed them after that. He fixed some of the things I wanted after the first payment, did a few things of our second milestone and immediately demanded the release of funds. I told him I was still far from happy with the first milestone (of course also with the second one). When I asked him to finish those 2 milestones, he asked me to fund the third milestone. He thinks he is the one who decides when a milestone is done. I do not trust him to finish the job, so I decided to not fund the last milestone. I ended up with a website full of bugs and links that do nothing. Horrible first experience hiring a freelancer here.”
