Canadian born designer Matthew Losiak grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia in a family enriched with artists and creativity.
His father, godfather and uncle were all avid painters. Growing up in that environment had a huge impact on his life. Naturally, Matthew noticed he was gifted with the same talents from an early age and wanted to follow in his family's footsteps.
Wanting to take things a step further, he moved away from traditional artistry and transitioned his skills into modern day digital 3D art and design. The move would prove later to be the perfect choice. His passion for great design married seamlessly with the industry's growing demand for skilled modern day computer design professionals.
He started his career in 2008 with a voxel technology company called NGRAIN, developing designs for simulation software used by the U.S. Army and Canadian Armed Forces. He also provided work for numerous e-learning companies, furthering his skillset to provide designs that would be used in classrooms for educational purposes.
He went on to start his own Sole Proprietorship venture on the side called Losiak Designs, primarily focused on helping small businesses in British Columbia with their digital media/advertisement needs. Also, he would later enter into a partnership at a social media marketing company called FreshTech serving as the company's Creative Director.
Today, his designs can be found on Global Television News and viewed nationally around Canada. His work ranges from architectural 3D virtual sets to digital designs used on the network's daily news broadcasts. His work has already pushed the boundaries of what can be done in television and has contributed to several large news broadcast accomplishments.
Always willing to converse/share advice and knowledge, he is known to attend as a Public Speaker at schools and events to discuss openly hard facts about the industry, building a long lasting career and other advice for young aspiring designers.
