Experience

President/Developer

Leptonic Systems Inc.
Jan 1996 - Present
I incorporated myself to help sell my apps and consulting work. I consulted and wrote various Mac software, including the first APL interpreter for the Mac. The last six years I've been writing iOS software.

Software Developer

CompuServe Inc.
Jan 1987 - Jan 1990 (3 years)
As an independent developer I designed and wrote CompuServe Navigator, later named MacNav, and later contracted with them to develop, extend, and maintain their most successful Mac software. It was an automated comm app for users that dialed up, fetched BBS messages quickly, hung up, then let you read offline and write replies, which it would then send quickly. At the time, CompuServe was expensive and charged by the minute, so most users found this to be money saving.

Systems Architect

DB Systems Corp.
Jan 1976 - Jan 1985 (9 years)
I was Systems Architect at DB Systems Corp. in White Plains NY for nine years, and created much of their early database systems, and managed both application and system software. DB Systems develops software for colleges to use in registration, scheduling and billing. Their hardware at the time included AS/400 and DECSYSTEM-20 systems. During that time I also worked on a consulting basis at various firms in the White Plains area including Pepsico World Headquarters (tracking worldwide inventory)

Computer Science

Orange Coast College, United States 1973 - 1976
