I'm a former technical writer for the State of Colorado, Departments of Human Services and Health Care Policy and Financing. I authored, defended and facilitated promulgation of rules and regulations in the Colorado Revised Statutes. I have a background in working with people with disabilities and mental health issues. I'm currently an MSW/LCSW candidate at the University of Denver. I'm a blogger and new mother (later in life) and I'm passionate about personal development, social issues, substance use issues, health and wellness, parenting, and home improvement.
