AskMeBazaar

Jul 2015 - Dec 2015 (5 months, 1 day)

AskMeBazaar is an e-retailer , similar to Flipkart and Amazon. They had a requirement to set-up Business Intelligence reports on the Operations and Sales side. I closely worked with their Operations team to generate automated reports using BI tools like Sisense and Pentaho. This experience strengthened my problem-solving skills and also helped me gain deeper insight into efficient Database querying.

TIBCO

May 2008 - May 2009 (1 year)

I was part of the Product Development Team of TIBCO BusinessEvents. Initially, I had to understand the full functionality of the product. Then , I made some changes in the grammar rules for the language used internally by the product. As part of a team, we did intensive testing of the TIBCO solution which was deployed by Citibank Singapore. I also went to TIBCO headquarters to attend a conference which was about strategizing the product architecture, product timelines and new features.

Trilogy

May 2007 - May 2008 (1 year)

I was part of the Product Development team at Trilogy for one of their flagship products - Artemis 7- an investment portfolio management system. This product was built upon Core Java, JDBC, Java Servlets and AWT. A challenging project that we worked on was to improve the response time of AWT panels while loading. My task was to recognize the bottlenecks with the help of tools like JProfiler, think of the solution and thus achieve a defined speed-up (1.5X, 2X) for a particular step.
