We originally took over the management of the old Joomla website and re-designed the original plain and simple white pages. We turned these into a colourful bright child-friendly WordPress driven website that showcases the true personality of Blackberry Farm Park. The new framework also allowed the team to populate the website with any news items or upcoming promotions. Due to the success of the first website we’re now in the process of rebuilding and revamping a brand new one. This is to keep up with the new booking systems required for school trips. We’re also adding some exciting new features and some fun new characters will be joining the family too – watch this space!

It was great working with Matthew and Rachael again. We started by finding out exactly what they required for the branding and website. Finding out which logos and colours they liked the look of and what kind of style they wanted to go for. We worked with these results to create a number of logo variations for them to choose from. From the feedback given any adjustments and edits were made. Once the logo/branding was completed and confirmed we were then able to begin work on the website design. We had to come up with ideas of how the site would look and function. As well as using a colour scheme to compliment the logo and a layout and style that would signify and reinforce the safety and efficiency of the Matthew James Transport service. The website is a simple information resource and a platform for contacting the company with plenty of room for expansion as the business grows.

The Royal Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne opened in 1883. In 2019 the building was in receipt of a £500,000 grant from a local CIC to refurbish both the exterior and interior of the building. The core requirement was to highlight the upcoming shows and be straightforward for users to navigate and book tickets for. This would be a more streamlined system instead of customers visiting the theatre directly or calling over the phone. One of the key aspects of the website was the events facility and enabling them to be quickly searched for. Also to be categorised and accessed easily by the customer as well as the administrator populating the website. We ensured that with the redesign, the key needs of the events facility were fulfilled and the structure was overhauled. Automation was also introduced to cut down on excess admin and repetition of population. These features enabled the website to display perfectly from laptop and tablets through to mobiles.

This website is a great example to portfolio websites, it’s clean, modern, fresh and attractive. Katie Elizabeth Design is an interior design business who cover all aspects of interior design. The website is largely image based making it very engaging to look at. It also doesn’t overwhelm with too much information, it is there to showcase and be a more visual resource. We’ve recently given Katie Elizabeth Design a theme refresh, re-building the premium theme in our own framework. Katie still really liked the look and feel of her website, however it really needed speeding up and refreshing. For Axia Origin they provided us with all of their branding guidelines so that we could complete the build accurately, furthermore maintaining the consistency in design. We came up with the layout mainly based on the branding but with a few additions of our own to enhance the look and feel. Additionally we built the site in such as way that at a later date if they decide on using on page SEO, everything is structured correctly. With a corporate build some times less is more. With the content supplied on our Axia Origin project along with the branding guidelines we felt that open panels and plenty of space was the way to go. Just enough content to inform people of who you are and what you do is enough. We really look forward to seeing what this company can do!
