I've worked in advertising sales for the past eight years and despite a recession - and working in a market experiencing a downward trend - I have, year on year, increased my revenue. In my opinion 'people sell to people' and my professional but laid-back and friendly approach to sales has resulted in my former company now finding itself in its healthiest position ever. In addition to advertising (magazine) sales I have also been instrumental in seeing a new website, built in March 2012, grow to become the leader in its field. Since 2008 I have also gained lots of experience writing articles for two of the UK's most popular golfing titles. I thrive when working to deadlines and promise to quickly and competently succeed in any role offered to me.
