Young and dynamic Computer Engineer, Mr. Avinash D. Godbole who had just passed out from the college, founded Avicon in 1989. The main driving force was to develop the software for process control and industrial control applications. We have gained a lot of experience, over the last decade, while developing customised solutions in the area of SCADA, MMI, using the current technologies and the latest systems and environments. Our mission is to keep pace with the fast changing technology and to give the best out of it to others.
We have been very strong in device interfacing, data communication for industrial applications. Using some of the latest microprocessors and microcontrollers we have designed various hardware interfaces.
We understand the need of after sale support for software and to give full proof after sale service, we keep five sets of data back up, which include the project description, documentation, drawings, software etc. on different PC’s and CDs. We are in the process of following the standard documentation practices.
We have a core team of three engineers. In addition to the core team, we have access to sizeable number of software engineers with experience in similar fields. We have a well-equipped office located in a calm and quiet place near Pune City, in Katraj. To have timely exchange of information with our clients, and for on site problems, we have adequate communication facilities in the form of FAX and E-mail.
