SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – MANAGER IT
I joined Kamal Laboratories, about ten years ago when there was no computer culture in the organization. Today, nearly every department is completely automated. The whole organization contains network of 40 workstations initially based on novel Netware then transferred to Windows NT and now Windows 2000 Server.
I built my network and started computer programming in Foxpro for DOS then Foxpro for Windows, Visual Foxpro and now the standalone application has been developed and running in Visual Basic 6 with SQL Server 2000 Database at back end.
The software currently being used covers the following areas of organization:-
1. Sales Orders Management
2. Sales Invoices Management
3. Customers Accounts
4. Complete Accounting System (From General Journal to Balance Sheet & Profit and Loss statement).
5. Raw Material Inventory, In-process Inventory & Finished Goods Inventory.
6. Vendors / Suppliers History and Accounts Ledgers.
7. Payroll System
8. User’s Complete Logsheet
During my stay in M/s Kamal Laboratories I have also additionally worked on the following posts:-

CONTRIBUTION IN IMPLEMENTATION OF ISO 9001:2000 SYSTEM
ISO stands for International Organization for standardization. It provides a global standard to ensure that the processes and procedures involved in an organization meets the Quality Standard which has been defined by the management of organization himself.
ISO Says “Write down what you say and prove what you write”.
ISO certification was got in year 2000 in KAMAL and I got wonderful opportunity to involve myself in complete designing of all the organization’s processes & work instructions etc. that includes each and every manufacturing process from syrup filling, quality control, inprocess checking, to blister packing of tablets, granulation, filtration etc and eventually the product takes its final shape. The highlights include Customer related process, Production Process, Control of Quality Records, Control of Non Conformances etc.
AS A SYSTEM ANALYST OF KAMAL’S SYSTEM
I have analyzed and designed myself the whole system of Kamal Production division and Head Office. The system included production of medicines, record keeping of medicines as raw materials and as Finished Goods Store. The supply of medicines, the record keeping of customer’s information, their orders, invoices and accounts. It has been ensured that we get the maximum beneficial information from putting minimum normalized data.
DUTIES DURING MY STAY OF TWO YEARS IN GHQ, RAWALPINDI
During my stay in GHQ Rawalpindi I worked as Assistant to ADDP-1, Major of Army Rank and DD (Lt Col), DP (Full Col.) and assisted them in implementation of procedure of Defence Procurement. The section deals with the procurement of Defence vehicles. The procedure included all types of correspondence with authorities raising demands in GHQ, inspection authorities i.e. IV&EE Chaklala and Suppliers (their tenders opening, bidding and preparation of comparative statements etc.) Resigned due to personal problems.
