We are a new hair extension company selling targeting African American women. We are starting out targeting Hair Salon owners and professionals (i.e. Hair stylists).
Essentially, we don’t even know if our marketing strategy will work in this market, so we need to test it out and establish baseline conversion rates.
We need to hire 2 Inside Sales Representatives to accurately determine if the sales process is viable and if so, to establish baseline statistics. Our sales process is roughly defined now but it needs to be optimized for our target market.
We are looking for serious A players who are looking for long term employment.
We will be using cold email as the basis of our marketing strategy and use the telephone for our Sales process.
Mission for Inside Sales Representative
Role: Inside Sales Representative
To generate at least $7,000 in gross sales per month from new contracts with Hair Salon professionals.
Sales: Accomplish a 5% conversion rate which should produce a minimum of $7,000 in gross sales per month.
Meeting Book Rate: Generate at least a 3% phone call meeting book rate.
Engagement: Generate at least a 50% email open rate
Engagement: Generate at least a 20% email reply/response rate
Outreach: Email 50-200 new hair salon professionals per day using email.
Create highly personalized email templates tailored to each contact
Referrals: To get a 3% referral rate.
Generate a 1% referral rate from non interested contacts
Generate a 2% referral rate from clients
Communication - Must speak and write clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including e-mail. Is fluent in English - Speaking and Writing
Enthusiasm - Exhibits passion and excitement over work. Has a can do attitude. Enjoys meeting new people and building relationships. Able to build rapport quickly and enjoys meeting new people.
Analytical - Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. Exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights. Will need this skill to optimize email templates and optimize the sales process.
Organization and planning - Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities.
Efficiency - Able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort.
