WEBSITE SPECIFICATION. 1. Contractor is required to develop a learning web site using WordPress. 2. The LMS plugin selected is the Learn dash plugin. 3. A suitable theme will be selected by Professional Education Seminars Ltd (PES) and provided to the contractor. Likely to be the Social Learner WordPress LMS Theme [login to view URL] 4. Site will have ability to sell courses in the following manner: a. Sell individual courses. b. Sell bundle of courses. c. Use coupons to allow a user use discount codes. d. Ability to sell memberships that will allow unlimited access to all courses. e. The article at the following link shows how this will be achieved. [login to view URL] 5. Payment gateway will be PayPal using Woocomerce as outlined in above link. 6. Courses will largely consist of a video lectures, support material in PDF / word / excel format. Some courses will have a number of modules. 7. User will be required to take a true or false test after taking the course. Learners achieving a specified grade will be awarded a certificate and the learner will be able to print out this certificate (this capability is in the learn dash plugin). 8. Site will have a blog for news and information. 9. Site will use Buddy press for social learning. 10. Contractor will be required to set up the first 14 courses on the site ready to sell. PES will provide the MP 4 files, PDF / Word / Excel documents, question bank and completion certificate. 11. On taking a course (free or a charged for course) the learner will become a member of the site. 12. User will be able to leave a review of the course. 13. Mail poet plugin will be used to contact site members. 14. All required security plugins will be used to secure site from hacking, spam and other security risks. Security Plugins to be agreed by contractor with PES.
