Hello!
I'm a freelance photographer and cameraman. I'm updating to a new website, wordpress based. I'm using a template and a specific plugin to show off my work.
Since my clients view my work on computer, iPad and Iphone I need my pictures and video's to be full screen but fully responsive on every format.
I'm using a customizable plugin but I need some custom CSS to make it work the way I want it. It's a fairly simple job but my CSS-skills are not good enough.
The site is still quite empty because I only want to upload when I know everything is working.
Main Wish:
As I said I'd like everything to be responsive. So when an image or preview of a video is displayed I like to width of the image to be around 90% of the width of the display. This can all be arranged within the plugin itself (media grid, it has a custom CSS menu page). The problem is when I open a portrait size picture (not landscape, so with more hight then width) the picture will open up to big.
What I want is that pictures displayed will be 90% of the width of the display, UNLESS the HIGHT of that image is larger than 90% of the hight of the display. If so I want the image to be scaled down to 90% of the hight of the display.
To be more concreet: landscape pictures should be displayed 90% of the width of the display, portrait pictures should be displayed 90% of the hight of the display.
I want this to apply to all images uploaded into the media grid plugin.
Extra wish:
Go to portfolio-video
Before watching fullscreen, images are not displayed as they should. On a page images should have the same with as the rest of the page (from left logo to right contact).
Even when I upload a full sized image (1050px width) direct into the page the picture is displayed quite small. This is nog a bug within media grid but some error within the template.
I hope you can help me out. I would like this work fixed as soon as possible but within 2/3 days max. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
Kind regards,
Michel.
