1. Add a 1 pixel border to the thumbnails in category page and tag page. Border should be color #ff4b33.
2. Can you please modify the URL structure for the posts?
Right now posts URL are like [url removed, login to view]
What I'd like is [url removed, login to view] so the categoryname does not appear in the post URL.
So for example for this article:
[url removed, login to view]
the URL should be
[url removed, login to view]
3. Create a "Hot Picks" section in the right sidebar
It will be composed of thumbnails, linking to some some of the posts of my choice.
I'd like to display 3 rows of 3 thumbnails. Each thumbnail should be 50x50px, which means 50% of the size the my regular thumbnails. Can you generate these thumbnails directly from the 100x100 thumbnails that are already existing for each posts?
Each thumbnails should have a 1px border in the same color as the border color of the thumbnails of the "related posts" (some kind of grey it seems).
Each thumbnail should link to the post for which the thumbnail is for. There should be a ALT text when placing the mouse over the thumbnail that shows the Title of the post.
Also, the selection of the 9 thumbnails to display should be random amongst all posts.
I am attaching a quick screenshot to show you the concept. It is missing the border around each thumbnail.
4. In the right sidebar, add a "Browse by price"
For each post, I have a custom field called 'price' in which I put the price of the product. I'd like to display a few price ranges in the sidebar so people can click on a price range and see all items reviewed in a specific price range.
When people click on a price range, the page should look like a category or a tag page. All posts for the price range selected should be listed with the latest one on top from most recent to oldest one.
Price ranges should be as follows:
- Under $25
- $25 to $100
- $100 to $500
- $500 to $2000
- $2000 and up
