I seek someone with medical experience, nurse, doctor, X-ray tech, sonographer, etc, to write medical content for several websites, generally 1 post per disease, and finding medical images that illustrate the disease. Writers must be able to write in perfect English grammar. If you are not a native-speaker of English from North America, UK, Australia or similar, then please Pass the "US or UK English - Level 1" exam.
The first 10 bidders are generally automatic bots, so don't be discouraged to bid. I will hire an Individual, not a team or company.
I would like the writer to tell me a writing schedule for me, they can realistically follow in the long term, like "I can write for 4 hours, 5-days a week", or "I can write for 2 hours, 3 evenings a week", or something like that. Don't bid if you just want a small quick job, because I am looking for a long-term worker who could potentially work for many months for me. You'll be given control of an entire site, to build up it's content, from a basic idea. Then another site.
It's a 'hire per hour' job, not fixed price. Don't low-ball a pay-rate, if you wouldn't be happy in the long term. I want a happy person looking for a predicable amount of work, to a maximum of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. You would need to be in email communication every day that you work for me, at the start, and at the end of the day when you send me a summary of what posts you created that day.
You will need some basic knowledge of Wordpress, how to make Posts, how to make Categories that are names of diseases, how to put Pictures into posts, and give them filenames with the disease name, give images titles with the disease name. I do not want my website re-styled, or plugins altered. It's a writing job primarily.
Don't bid if you plan to Copy from one site, and paste into a Spin-writer algorithm. I will drop you quickly and rate you poorly.
Images are an important part. I am a radiologist, and radiology images, (X-rays, Ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, etc) are more interesting to me, than pictures of histology, or skin rashes, or surgical pictures. The person doing this work, will need to have some kind of photo handling software. I use Photoshop I would share my photoshop CC license logon, if the worker is full time for me. But if the worker only intends a few hours each evening, then they should supply their own image-editing software. Doesn't need to be photoshop. Could be free software like GIMP, [login to view URL], or paid software. (Google "alternatives to Photoshop") The kinds of basic photo manipulations include cropping, changing tint, adding slight rotations, changing image size from big to small or visa versa. You may need to learn on YouTube how to do these things, if you have not done them before. I don't expect writers with medical experience to also have photo-manipulation experience, but I do expect you to learn some basic skills, because all the Posts need images in them.
