Add Documentation and Endpoints in Rails App for iOS Screens

My iOS developer needs work done on our Rails website in order for certain features in our iOS app to communicate properly. I need all API docs for things like what to request, sample response, the links, headers and if its a POST API and what to post. Also need to implement the endpoints for the screens.
Our API right now is undocumented that is why we need someone to to implement these features. For example on our app we have a feature where a user can schedule an appointment and create an order, this order info is sent to the backend but we need someone to link the iOS and website via our API.
