1 -About this document

The objective of this document is to illustrate the main features and requirements of the project by the a company, allowing other companies to perform an initial analysis and apply the provision and/or development of the trading platform of the project.

The project aims to be performed as simply and quickly as possible, using solutions that are already available or that require little adaptation. Some of the requirements can be traded for delivery in later releases, right after the release desired.

2 - What is the project

The site project consist in the creation of an e-commerce of books and theses, initially in english and with a base of approximately 500 thousand SKUs.

For the system must be used the e-commerce platform Magento or similar that allows the automation of registration of products through XML following the Onix XML model, widely used by the book industry, as seen in [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] , sent by the supplier, as well as standard modules a showcase of products, SEO control, checkout using the most common means of payment, tracking order status, among others.

It should also be able to integrate with other systems that are part of the project, such as ERP and the system responsible for the provision of the product.

3 –Target Audience

The initial direction will be the academic audience, that make acquisitions of books in the international market (Amazon e Barnes & Noble), making the purchase of books imported into the country easier.

4 – Benchmark

Our main benchmarks in the international market are the sites [url removed, login to view], Wook and Barns & Noble, that have approximately 16 million and 13 million SKU's of books, respectively. Also as a benchmark of features and behavior study of customers for the Brazilian market, we have sites like [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] , [url removed, login to view], among others.

5 –About the offered product

Books trade on demand. Initially several books and theses in different areas will be offered on the platform.

6 –Creation of mirror stores (White Label/Syndication)

Initially in partnership, will be offered the syndication of sold content, being a mirror of products of the project site , with layout options and custom domains according to the identity of the partner.

7 –ERP module

The ERP module is the responsible software for the fulfillment operation. After the request received, it's up to him:

• Send the order request to the supplier, by web service in the order submission, or another method to be discussed.

• Generate the Invoice (electronic and physical)

• Receive tracking synchronization from post

• Retrace the progress of the request for the E-commerce inform the user,

• Database size (40GB of data)

• Synchronization on-request with ERP

• SKUs implementation in the system (50,000 / week)

• Database replication to the mirror store
