Simple Website for Accounting Business

Summary We need a simple website for our new accounting business. *** Please provide sample portfolio as part of your bid submission of similar websites you can do for your proposed budget *** What we do: Our company (JL and Associates) offers Business Services to the small to medium sized enterprise market, including accounting services, business advisory services, book-keeping services, taxation services, compliance, GST/BAS/IAS services, payroll services, general financial and management reporting, accounting and financial software setup and maintenance. What we need: A simple website that describes to prospects who are are, what we do, what makes us different, how much we cost/how we charge, and how to contact us. The website also needs to have the following functions: a) secure client only areas accessible by unique logins and passwords, which we can upload confidential files for the respective clients to download using their own unique secure login/password. The number of logins/passwords shall be unlimited, with the number and size of the client area limited only by our hosting provider's allocated webspace. b) a content management system based on Joomla, to allow the contents of the website to be updated by us without the need of a web-developer, eg. when we introduce new services, change existing services or scope, update our fee structure or charging model, or other changes to the business. c) a simple and contemporary logo and colour scheme as part of the website development. The logo and colour scheme shall be easily adapted to business cards and stationery. Copyright of the design shall be given to us as a deliverable of this project. d) a means to post PDF files for general website visitors to download, eg. corporate profile brochure, rate card, services scope document, etc. e) a website that can be viewed from a PC or a Mac, using popular browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, as well as on handheld devices - iPad, iPhone, Android Tablets, and Android Phones. f) a blog area based on Wordpress where we can post regular advice/tips or interesting articles to general visitors of the website g) ability to have a 2nd language version added at a future date (Chinese traditional and simplified text) When we need it: We need to have a live final website by 1st Jan 2012. A beta (ie. "draft"/testing) website needs to be available by 1st Dec 2011. Design guidelines: a) simple and clean lines, limited number of colours b) no flash or bandwidth hungry designs that slow page loading c) contemporary look and feel, suitable for a fresh and vibrant professional services business d) text size and colours need to be easy to read e) would like to have pictures / stock photos to give a "big company" impression
