I need some help with a special VoIP Project. The current state is pretty simple and straight forward. Just a PBX with 4 extensions, and a trunk. All works well. This is shown in the diagram as 'Before'. One SIP phone however is very special. It doesn't have a transfer button. So no call transfer can be initiated on the phone. It should be possible however to initiate a transfer via DTMF tones. The current PBX (main PBX) doesn't support tranfser via DTMF. This is the tricky part: I *think* we need to put asterisk in between the main PBX and the phone. I *think* Asterisk should be able to listen for DTMF tones and initiate a transfer to the main PBX if the correct DTMF sequence is entered on the phone. I need someone who can tell me if this scenario will work, or suggest another solution. Also i would like to hire this person to help me implement it. Link to diagram: [login to view URL]
