I am programming in C# and am very new to DevExpress v10. I want to create a report designer that I can distribute with my application and include some predefined reports / print templates e.g. Invoice layout. Also, I want the end user to be able to modify supplied reports and layouts and to be able to create their own new reports.
I am stuck at the point of creating reports in DevExpress using data from multiple tables (e.g. for a Sales Invoice defing dataset which incorporates Invoice header, Invoice Items, Stock Records and Customer details tables). I can do this if I use teh Visual Studio IDE but not within DevExpress.
Can you help? I would like you to create a test app which has the required report designer interface with a sample invoice layout incorporating the sample data (which I will provide) for the 4 tables mentioned above.
