Our works are normally based around the premise of “ancient alien theme” Exploring ancient history, lost civilizations and worldly mythologies. Working along Side Gaia tv, the content needed is to a high standard. We edit in Premiere Pro and After affects so possible shared project options if the same software is used.
Looking for someone ideally who can work of their own initiative somewhat as to the placements of relevant images and stock footage to match the narrative of the video.

Job brief
We are looking for a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage and narration. images and stock footage and transitions into a finished project that matches director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
Ultimately, as a film and video editor, you should be able to bring the footage and images, stock video together in order to tell a cohesive story. Many examples of work can be used to help know our format.
Responsibilities
Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input, stock video footage, images, graphics and effects
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a video editor in some form. (examples of work)
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Punctual timing, motivation and continuity
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Subject knowledge or passion would be a huge bonus but not essential
So to sum it up.. We're looking for an experienced video editor who can do some simple and clean edits to our ongoing videos. Must be FAST, effective, and have previous experience You must be able to add stock footage, images, transitions and text. Make my videos look professional to a high standard.
