We want a program written in vb.net that can go the web and get and update stock data then analyze the data and group companies based on the movement in the market within a certain percentage. i would then like to show in a chart the group and single out and overlay with the group a single company.
The goal of this is to be able to watch the group as an indicator and be able to select a specific stock based on it's groups performance.
The program needs to be a desktop application.
The program needs to be written in vb.net.
The program needs to use either msaccess or sql to store data in.
The program needs to be able to analyze the data and group companies by their movement in the market
We want to be able to set a range of purchase prices at run time.
We want to be able to set the percentage of variance that makes the group, a group at run time.
We want to be able to control the aggressiveness at which the application retrieves data from the sources on the internet,
this needs to be settable/adjustable at run-time with the ability to add break/pause times to keep from violating the TOS of internet providers.
