As a translation and interpreting student, I have a visceral interest in foreign languages, literature and the writing of both literary and topical essays thanks to which I had the possibility of improving exponentially my writing style.
My English language level is certified by the achievement of Grade A at the Cambridge Advanced English exam, which corresponds to the CEFR level C2, however, I’m available to discuss my qualifications anytime.
My motto is to translate texts based on the content rather than literally, in order to focus more on the writing style though maintaining the original sense and mood. In other words, I believe that a translated text must not only be correctly translated: the reader needs to find that something which makes them think that it was originally written in their language, they need to perceive a sort of lingual connection between them and the author in spite of the language it was incipiently written in.
I think I might be the person you’re looking for: I’m young, hard working, highly motivated and passionate about anything that involves both languages and the internet; if you believe my qualifications and my working method would greatly contribute to your organisational goals, I would welcome an opportunity to work for you.
Sincerely,
Alice Bisi
