My translating experiences have started since my undergraduate degree (2010) and have continued until the present. I have translated and interpreted for INGOs (Reprieve UK, Save the Children, American Field Service, Purnomo Yusgiantoro Centre), Government Institutions (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, local and international universities) and private corporations (PT LEN, Frost and Sullivan, Grand Shamaya Property) and other independent researchers all over the globe. I have also translated a few fictional stories. I am also capable of proofreading many academic articles and journals.
I am an official and permanent member of Indonesian Directory of Translators and Interpreter (HPI-01-17-2319). My English is excellent since I have spent the majority of time abroad in English speaking countries (Australia for 4.5 years, US for 1.5 years, the UK for one year, New Zealand for 1.5 years). My IELTS is 8.5. I have also experienced in copywriting and have helped many companies create articles, blog posts, promotional media in their social media and other copies, both in Indonesian and in English.
When translating, I always localize as many cultures and languages may not have the same meaning when the translation is translated literally. Social, economic, and political context needs to be taken into account to ensure the best translation is achieved.
