Hire a 3D Designer

Seeking a 3D modeler with knowledge of the injection molding process, including the limitations of mold creation and how to create/adjust models for successful molding. We have several pre-made 3D models of robotic figures that need to have small adjustments done on them to make them suitable for injection molding. These adjustments include: • Fill in negative space around tubes, wires, pistons, etc. while preserving as much detail as possible. (See fig 1) • Make guns solid, no holes or gaps • Thicken/strengthen pieces of plating and weaponry that extend away from the main mass of the figure. (fig 2) • Increase the depth/height of details that may be too subtle for injection molding. • Add foot plates Link to .obj file: [login to view URL] We are aware that some sacrifices may need to be made, but it is essential to the value of our product that we maintain as much of the fine details of these figures as possible.
