To clarify, Autodesk Inventor files can be set up with the live Plant 3d piping connections and metadata then exported in a Plant 3d file format. The files should drop directly into Autodesk Plant 3d seamlessly. This is how I would do this project. If this is not acceptable, I respect that you must select someone else for this project.
