I have a project that I have already created in solidworks. It is just barebone pcb and some servos. I need someone to design an enclosure that can be manufactured to go around the outside and hold the servo/camera etc. The bot is currently using pololu 30t track set, extended motor mount, and micro gear motor. We also use a 9g servo to control the camera. Connecting from the camera to the mainboard is a .02mm thick 24pin fpc connector. So this connector will have to fit inside the body and be able to slide in and out. There is also connections for 3 more servos if you can think of a good use for them in the model. If you know how to make this 100% from scratch and how I could get it manufactured I am open to that. If we cannot make it from scratch with a manufacture I hope to get the model 3d printed at shapeways and then possibly mold it with epoxy resin later. I'm really open to ideas here. If you want to use something different for tracks or wheels, servos etc I am open to that. Please send any pictures of related work and what you propose to do. Also any mock ups of how you will design will be really helpful in picking a freelancer. About what I have so far (see pictures and pdf) the square thing holding it all together is a pcb, the placment of parts on the pcb is not set in stone yet but there will be capacitors etc There will be a micro usb connector There will be a wifi antenna sticking off one side of the pcb (very small) There will be 4 CR123a batteries, you can find their dimensions in wikipedia - I expect that the enclosure will hold the 4 cr123 batteries and have the battery tabs. There will need to be location to slide the camera connector cable inside the body No cables or batteries should be exposed. Maximum clearance to ground is desired. If the servo that moves the camera can also move things in the environment thats a plus Above the camera will be 4 LEDS they must be visible I have included documents that show what the 3d model looks like, I will send solidworks files after I pick freelancer. Thank you for your time.

Hi. I could do this enclosure. In my opinion, this should be done using exclusively plastic material because that need to be lightweight as possible. And if you need just one enclosure (as prototype for example) then 3D printing is most appropriate. I have already worked on different type of enclosures. I could send you examples but I cannot put link or file here and cannot showing in my portfolio because of confidentiality. I could privately send you some pictures if you ask. This project cannot be done in few days. That needs many exchanges, quotation and so on. I would say 10-15 days.

I hold a Masters degree in Product Design Engineering and have several years experience designing consumer products within the telephone entry kiosk industry. I am also a certified SolidWorks Professional, which demonstrates my high level of competence in using 3D modelling software, in turn allowing me to complete work quickly and accurately. I also have experience in manufacturing my designs using sheet meta and injection molded plastics, as well as in designing for mechatronic applications, which is especially pertinent for this project. Particularly the use of servo motors is a common application. I currently use SolidWorks 2014 and signing an NDA is not a problem.
