We've got 6 Linux servers with second hard drives and ftp backup. The admin who is not with us any longer didn't really bother to configure it well enought to be useful. We need a simple way to restore any of the servers in the event of a crash. None of the servers has more than 30 gb used and therefore we could design a useful way to keep backps of the databases in mutlple locations and the files systems as well. We need someone who will be able to take each server and configure backups and provide the necessary documentation so that in the event of a server crash we would be able to restore from the backups quickly. The key to doing this correctly is the willingness to create a usefull and easy to quicly understand information source.
