Hi I am a database expert with 12 years experience in handling MS SQL databases. I have worked as DBA for large ERP databases and use to write and do performance tuning for SQL queries, procedures and triggers. What you need here is a query that returns the application details along with an extra column which shows the maximum application number for the same person ID. So if this Person Id has only one application, then the extra field will show the same application number, right? This can be done using a sub query for this additional field. Once I have the table structure, I can do it in no time. Thanks Roni
